About The Photographer
About Leslie Brashear
From developing film as a one-hour photo lab clerk to earning recognition as a talented travel photographer, Leslie's passion for capturing the world has been a lifelong journey.
In late 2023, she embraced a new chapter, selling her belongings to travel full-time, allowing photography to take center stage once again. Her curated galleries feature the essence of destinations she holds dear, from Atlanta and Napa to inspiring corners of the globe, as she continues to explore and find beauty in every frame.
"For me, photography is more than capturing moments. It is about storytelling. Every image I create is designed to evoke emotion and share a narrative, connecting viewers to the layers of life within the frame.
I'm honored to have my work enjoyed by others and to know my storytelling resonates far beyond the lens, sparking curiosity and inspiring exploration in those who view it."
In 2025, we are adding photos from Leslie's late brother, Curt, who passed away on January 11, 2025 after a long battle against pancreatic cancer.
A little about Curt's photography journey:
Curt Brashear was more than a man behind the lens; he was a storyteller, a seeker of beauty, and a master of his craft. His photography reflected the vibrant life he lived, capturing the essence of Napa Valley and beyond with a spirit that found wonder in both the extraordinary and the weathered.
Curt's passion for photography blossomed during his early years in the Napa Valley, a region whose natural beauty seemed to mirror his creative soul. From delicate wildflowers to old, weathered structures standing resilient in the face of time, Curt had an uncanny ability to showcase beauty in ways others might overlook. His work wasn't just about taking photos—it was about preserving moments, telling stories of places, and crafting emotions through his keen photographer's eye.
